"The agreement between you, the listener, and us — CTRL+Z and No Doubt Studios — for everything you do on this site and inside The Vault."

Welcome to CTRL+Z. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of wearectrlz.netlify.app, the CTRL+Z Vault subscription service, and any related content, applications, or services we offer (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by No Doubt Studios, based in Los Angeles, California, on behalf of the artist project CTRL+Z ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, subscribing to The Vault, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

— 01Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to purchase a paid subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the free portions of the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

— 02Accounts

You can sign up by providing your email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.

You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@ctrlz.world.

— 03The Vault subscription

What you get

An active CTRL+Z Vault Pass grants you access to:

• Streaming access to unreleased CTRL+Z songs before public release
• Vault-exclusive tracks, alternate versions, and select hidden records
• Voting rights on which Vault tracks move to streaming
• Private drop alerts and Vault updates by email
• Other benefits we may add from time to time at our discretion

Plans & pricing

The Vault Pass is offered on a recurring subscription basis at $9.00 USD per month or $77.00 USD per year. Prices may change; we will give you reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days) of any change before it takes effect on your account.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us and our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) to charge your payment method on each renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or the link in your subscription confirmation email.

Cancellation

When you cancel, your access continues through the end of the current paid billing period. After that date, your subscription ends and Vault access is removed. You will not be charged again unless you re-subscribe.

— 04Refunds

See our separate Refund Policy. In short: we offer a 14-day refund window from the date of your initial purchase if you have not used the Vault meaningfully (defined in the Refund Policy). Renewals are non-refundable except where required by law.

— 05Intellectual property

All audio, video, photography, artwork, lyrics, song titles, member names, the CTRL+Z name and logo, and the design of this site are owned by CTRL+Z, No Doubt Studios, and/or our licensors. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your license

While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream Vault content for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

What you may not do

• Download, record, screen-capture, rip, or otherwise copy any audio or video from the Vault
• Re-distribute, share, broadcast, perform publicly, or post Vault content to any platform (Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud, Discord, etc.)
• Use Vault content in any commercial work, advertisement, sample, remix, sync, or derivative without our written permission
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, DRM, watermarking, or access-control feature
• Share, sell, transfer, or resell your account or Vault Pass to anyone else
• Use any automated tool (bot, scraper, crawler) to access the Service

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account without refund and may expose you to civil and criminal liability.

Fan-made content

You may post short, transformative clips of officially released CTRL+Z music on social platforms (TikTok, Reels, etc.) for non-commercial creative purposes. You may not post Vault-only content. We reserve the right to issue takedowns at our discretion.

— 06DMCA & copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@ctrlz.world with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include: a description of the work, the URL of the alleged infringement, your contact information, a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.

— 07Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law or third-party right
• Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate anyone
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service for other users

— 08Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any lawful reason. Upon termination, your license to access Vault content ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

— 09Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

— 10Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CTRL+Z, NO DOUBT STUDIOS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

— 11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CTRL+Z, No Doubt Studios, and our affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

— 12Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

— 13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
