"You should know exactly when you can get your money back, and when you can't, before you press subscribe."
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to the CTRL+Z Vault Pass purchased via wearectrlz.netlify.app. The Service is operated by No Doubt Studios on behalf of CTRL+Z.
Vault Pass purchases are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy and returned to your original payment method.
— 01Our 14-day refund window
If you are a first-time subscriber to the Vault Pass, you may request a full refund of your initial payment within 14 days of the purchase date, provided you have not meaningfully used the Vault.
What counts as "meaningfully used"
For the avoidance of doubt, the following constitutes meaningful use and disqualifies the purchase from the 14-day refund window:
- Streaming three (3) or more full-length Vault tracks
- Casting any vote on what leaves the Vault
- Downloading any content (where downloads are made available)
- Accessing Vault-exclusive bonus material more than once
Listening to public-preview snippets (the 25-second clips on the marketing site) does not count as Vault use.
— 02Renewals are non-refundable
After your initial 14-day window, all subsequent monthly or annual auto-renewal charges are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law (see Statutory rights below). Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
You can cancel anytime from the link in your subscription confirmation email or by contacting us at hello@ctrlz.world. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

The Year Pass ($77/year) is also covered by the 14-day refund window for first-time subscribers under the same conditions. After 14 days, the Year Pass is non-refundable, but you may cancel auto-renewal at any time and retain access through the paid year.
— 04How to request a refund
- Email hello@ctrlz.world from the address on your account.
- Subject line: "Refund Request"
- Include your purchase date and order number (from your Lemon Squeezy receipt).
- Briefly tell us why — feedback helps us improve.
We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
— 05Refunds we cannot process
We are unable to refund:
- Charges older than 14 days from a first-time purchase
- Auto-renewal charges (cancel before the renewal date instead)
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Payments made to third-party services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) — those are governed by each platform's own refund policies, not ours
— 06Pricing changes
If we change our subscription pricing, we will notify you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your account. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect and retain access through your paid period.
— 07Service interruptions
We aim to keep the Vault online 24/7, but unplanned outages happen. For interruptions of longer than 72 consecutive hours caused by us (excluding maintenance announced in advance and force majeure), we will, at our discretion, issue a prorated credit toward your next billing cycle or extend your current period.
— 08Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
European Economic Area & United Kingdom
If you are a consumer based in the EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By starting to stream Vault content during the withdrawal period, you expressly consent that the right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content has been accessed (in line with Article 16(m)).
California residents
You may cancel an automatic-renewal subscription at any time. If you cancel, we will not charge you again unless you re-subscribe.
— 09Disputed charges
If you don't recognize a charge from "Lemon Squeezy" or "CTRL+Z" on your statement, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most "unrecognized charges" are family members or partners using your card, and we can usually resolve it in minutes. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in your account being permanently disabled.
